我系于2017年11月03日上午10:00在智园A7栋1113会议室,举办了“MDS Codes for Distributed Storage system”和“Progress and Development Trend of Cache Assisted Wireless Communication Technology”两场专题讲座,西南交通大学唐小虎教授及陈庆春教授为此次讲座主讲人。
在此次讲座中,唐小虎教授跟大家分享的是在分布式存储系统当中MDS编码技术,针对现今的大数据时代,通过MDS编码来提高数据存储的效率和减少存储的冗余,唐教授给出了巧妙的理论推导和形象的数学模型来解释MDS编码方式。陈庆春教授首先就编码方式、理论框架和应用等几个方面为大家介绍了缓存辅助无线通信技术,重点阐述了缓存辅助的协作多中继的网络和缓存辅助无限能量收获中继网络的应用,最后针对高速缓存辅助无线通信技术的发展现状,陈教授和大家一起畅谈了该技术在计算-存储-协同通信和人工智能方向上的广阔前景。
讲座结束后,现场前来听取的同学提出了有关讲座内容的问题,两位教授一一作出解答。

讲座教授简介:
Xiaohu Tang received the B.S. degree in applied mathematics from the Northwest Polytechnic University, Xi’an, China, the M.S. degree in applied mathematics from the Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from the Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China, in 1992, 1995, and 2001 respectively. From 2003 to 2004, he was a research associate in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. From 2007 to 2008, he was a visiting professor at University of Ulm, Germany. Since 2001, he has been in the School of Information Science and Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University, where he is currently a professor. His research interests include coding heory, network security, distributed storage and information processing for big data.
Dr. Tang was the recipient of the National excellent Doctoral Dissertation award in 2003 (China), the Humboldt Research Fellowship in 2007(Germany), the Outstanding Young Scientist Award by NSFC in 2013(China), and the Changjiang distinguished professor in 2014. He serves as Associate Editors for several journals including IEEE Transactions on Information Theory and IEICE Trans on Fundamentals, and served on a number of technical program committees of conferences.
Qingchun Chen received his B.Sc degree and M.Sc degree with honor from Chongqing University, P.R. China, in 1994 and 1997, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree from Southwest Jiaotong University, P.R. China in 2004. He joined Southwest Jiaotong University since 2004 as associate professor and then as a full professor since 2009. Dr. Qingchun Chen has authored and coauthored over 100 research papers, two book chapters and 35 patents. Dr. Chen was the recipient of the Program for New Century Excellent Talent in University, Ministry of Education, P.R. China. He was also the recipient of Fok Ying Tong selected research funding for Outstanding Young Teacher in Colleges and Universities. Dr. Chen received the second Natural Science Prize of the Ministry of Education, P.R. China, and the 2016 IEEE GLOBECOM Best Paper Award. He is a senior member of IEEE and served as Associate Editor for IEEE A CCESS since 2015. Dr. Chen’s research interest includes wireless communication, wireless network, information coding and signal processing.
