Sandip Kumar Saha got his PhD from Assam University,Silchar,India and joined in our group in September 2019. His research interest is focusing on azobenzene functionalized liquid crystal materials for the application in actuators and colour reflective display.

Xiaowan Xu

Xiaowan Xu had obtained her bachelor and master degree in Harbin Institude of Technology in 2014, and is currently a joint-supervised Ph.D student in our group with Harbin Institude of Technology. Her research interest is blue phase liquid crystal and azobenzene liquid crystal.

Zhaojue LAN has obtained his Bachelor degree in South University of Science and Technology of China and is current joint-supervised Ph.D student in our group with Hong Kong Baptist University. He joined the group in September 2015 and his graduation thesis is “Research on bi-stable liquid crystal smart window based on dual frequency modulation”. His research interest is focusing on organic photodetector and LC&OE integrated devices.

Zongdai Liu

Zongdai Liu has obtained his Bachelor degree in South University of Science and Technology of China and is currently a joint-supervised Ph.D student in our group with National University of Singapore. He joined the group in 2015 and his research focuses on microfluidics and LC sensors

She joined the group in 2016 and her research interest is focusing on the liquid crystal droplets and its application on bio-sensors.
